Shipping Policy

We ship most orders via LTL truck freight.

Rates
Freight charges will be quoted on an individual basis with a $225.00 minimum charge.
Large volume orders and direct truck shipments will be quoted separately.
There will be an additional $100.00 fee for residential deliveries. If possible, please arrange to have your shipment sent to a commercial address to avoid this additional charge.
Orders that are delivered to a residential address will be contacted by the freight carrier to arrange a delivery time.
The customer must be present at the time of delivery to receive and inspect the shipment.                   
The customer is responsible for unloading the product from "Back of Truck". The driver's only responsibility is to ensure the product is moved to the rear of the trailer. Many drivers will assist customers in the unloading process, however it is not required nor should it be expected. We recommend at least 2 people be present to unload the shipment. 

Express Delivery

We do not provide express delivery.

Shipping Damage

We are committed to making sure you are satisfied with our products. Your order is inspected prior to shipment to ensure all items are in excellent condition before they leave our facilities. Although our products are packaged securely to prevent any damage it’s possible that in rare cases, damage may occur during shipment.

It is your responsibility to inspect the goods you receive immediately upon receipt for damage.
If any goods appear to be damaged in shipment, please note it on the bill of lading, refuse shipment and contact us immediately. We will initiate a freight damage claim on your behalf.
NOTE: We cannot be held responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged items if there is no notation on the Bill of Lading.
Shipping damage claims made more than 7 days after the receipt of products will be denied.

If possible digital photos should be taken of the packaging and damaged goods in order to facilitate your damage claim.

Returns Policy

All gypsum products are made to order, all sales are final (some rare exceptions apply)
You must first contact us to obtain a return authorization number.
You must ship goods back to us properly packaged so that they arrive undamaged and in resalable condition.
You must ship items being returned freight and brokerage prepaid. We do not accept freight collect shipments.
A 25% restocking fee applies. You will receive a refund for 75% of the value of the goods you return.
Shipping charges will not be refunded.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Balmer Architectural Mouldings Inc. warrants that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover any labour, transportation costs, damage, or other expenses of any kind incurred with the sale or use of these products. A return authorization must be obtained from Balmer Architectural Mouldings Inc
